Privacy policy
The short version: we collect very little, we don't sell anything we collect, and we tell you exactly what's running on this site below. If you have any question this page doesn't answer, write to hello@sovereignpantry.com.
Who runs this site
Sovereign Pantry is operated by Dunham Digital LLC, an independent publisher. Dunham Digital LLC is the data controller for the purposes of GDPR and the business for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
What we collect
Server logs
Our host (Cloudflare Pages) records standard request metadata for each visit: IP address, user agent, the URL requested, referrer, timestamp, and response status. This is the same baseline log every website on the internet keeps, used for security, debugging, and abuse mitigation. Cloudflare retains these logs per their privacy policy; we do not export or store them ourselves.
Email subscriptions
When you submit your email address through a signup form, we send it to Beehiiv, our newsletter platform. Beehiiv stores and processes that email under their privacy policy. We use it only to send you the newsletter you signed up for. We never sell it. You can unsubscribe with one click from any email we send; that immediately removes you from our list. Note: if no email-newsletter signup form is currently active on the site, no email collection is occurring.
Affiliate click tracking
Click tracking through our /go/[slug] redirector is not currently active. The infrastructure
exists for future use and will be re-enabled when we have approved affiliate relationships with the brands
we recommend. When that happens, this section will be updated to describe what is being collected.
Aggregate analytics
We may use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics tools (Cloudflare Web Analytics, Plausible) to count visits and understand which pages readers find useful. These tools do not set tracking cookies, do not identify individual visitors, and do not share data with advertisers. If we add a behavioral tracker in the future, this page will be updated to describe it explicitly.
What we do not do
- We do not run Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any other behavioral advertising tracker.
- We do not sell, rent, or share email addresses with third parties.
- We do not build behavioral profiles for advertising purposes.
- We do not serve display ads.
Cookies
Sovereign Pantry does not currently set any cookies of its own. Our host (Cloudflare) may set essential operational cookies for security and bot-protection purposes. If we add a third-party tracker in the future, this section will list the cookies it sets.
Your rights
If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA)
You have the right to (a) know what personal information we hold about you, (b) request that we delete it, and (c) opt out of any sale or sharing of that information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sovereignpantry.com from the address you signed up with. We will respond within 45 days as required by the statute.
If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Our legal basis for processing email-subscription data is your consent (you signed up); for server logs it is our legitimate interest in site security and operation. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful processing but stops future processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sovereignpantry.com.
Anyone else
You can ask us to delete any data we hold about you at any time. Email hello@sovereignpantry.com from the relevant email address. We do not require a reason.
Children
Sovereign Pantry is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from someone under 13, please email hello@sovereignpantry.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change our data practices in any material way, we will update this page and update the "Last updated" date below. Material changes (adding new trackers, new data uses) will be called out prominently.
